Become certified in invasive mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a relatively new way of delivering vitamins and anti-ageing ingredients to the skin and body.

Mesotherapy promotes natural skin rejuvenation through a therapeutic approach, helping to improve skin health. We distinguish between invasive and non-invasive methods. Invasive treatment involves very superficial microinjections (0.5–1 mm) of small doses of anti-ageing meso-cocktails (containing vitamins, amino acids and hyaluron) into areas where improvements in skin tone, firmness and other concerns are desired.

Microinjections are performed using the latest high-tech equipment, a Leadergun or a manual technique. A Leadergun offers fully automated, secure equipment that delivers the precise amount of product and consistently controls injection depth.

Introduction to the invasive mesotherapy course

The course begins with the theory behind mesotherapy. We want you to understand the benefits of becoming a mesotherapist and the results you can offer clients through mesotherapy treatments.

You learn a gentle, safe manual technique suited to the face. In addition to the manual technique, a Leadergun can provide fast, precise treatment with carefully controlled microinjection depth and product dosage. If you wish to learn to use a Leadergun, it must be ordered 14 days before practical training. A Leadergun makes treatment faster and more controlled by allowing you to adjust depth and product dosage.

You learn to perform effective anti-ageing mesotherapy treatments on the body, scalp and face using invasive microinjection techniques.

Who can take the invasive mesotherapy course?

The invasive mesotherapy course requires at least a completed non-invasive mesotherapy course or a background in the cosmetics and healthcare sector.

Why Mesotech®?

Mesotech’s® exclusive formula has a documented effect on age-related skin changes. Since 2008, more than 3,000,000 treatments have been performed worldwide with satisfied clients and good results.

Mesotech®products are used for invasive mesotherapy. They are sterile and must be refrigerated.

Mesotherapy with Mesotech® products effectively addresses the following concerns by delivering active ingredients directly into the skin:

  • wrinkles

  • pigmentation changes

  • scars

  • loose or dry skin

  • hair loss

  • stretch marks

  • loss of skin volume

  • dark circles and bags under the eyes

  • double chin

For a more targeted approach to signs of ageing, different skin areas can be treated together, such as the neck, face, scalp and backs of the hands.

What you learn to treat as a mesotherapist

  • Age-related skin changes caused by photoageing: changes in skin structure, loss of elasticity, lack of moisture, skin thickening and premature wrinkles. These include sagging, wrinkles and dullness. Some clients also experience enlarged pores, bags and dark circles under the eyes, or loose skin on the hands.

  • Reducing or removing red and white stretch marks
  • Reducing or addressing hair loss in men and women of all ages

Course content and structure

The course takes approximately one month, depending on how long you need to complete the initial online part at your own pace. You can start Part 1 (theory) from one day to the next.

The invasive mesotherapy course includes:

  • Part 1: Online theory including starter kit

  • Part 2: One practical training day at our training centre in Vejle

Part 1: Online theory

  • After enrolling, you receive a unique login for online self-study with extended theory materials and a video course demonstrating the treatment techniques step by step.

  • Once you have completed the theory, you take the online examination when you are ready. A score of 75% is required to pass. Passing gives you access to Part 2.

Part 2: Practical training day at the training centre

Mesotherapy treatments are highly specialised. Learning to perform them correctly requires focusing on one subject at a time.

During the training day, you learn the correct technique and gain a solid understanding of each mesotherapy product: its properties and how it addresses the concerns clients present.

A typical practical training day includes:

  • 10:00–15:00 with model treatments

    • Mesotherapy for the lower face

    • Mesotherapy for the upper face

    • Mesotherapy for hair loss or stretch marks

  • Followed by a summary

Your trainer on the invasive mesotherapy course

Most PMU-line courses and training programmes are taught by Aleksandra Kjaersfeldt, a highly qualified permanent makeup master trainer with her own clinic and many years of industry experience.

Aleksandra Kjaersfeldt is:

  • a trained micropigmentation practitioner specialising in advanced permanent makeup and laser therapy

  • a certified master trainer in cosmetic and medical micropigmentation

  • a certified master trainer in Lash and Brow Keratin Lamination

  • a certified master trainer in Eyelash Extensions

  • a master trainer in dermatherapy and clinical wrinkle reduction

  • a mesotherapist

  • an anti-ageing therapist

Aleksandra Kjaersfeldt has worked across every area of permanent makeup. Despite her extensive experience, she remains modest and welcomes her students with enthusiasm and openness. During the permanent makeup programme, you can therefore find answers to almost any question about permanent makeup and medical pigmentation.

Named among the best in permanent makeup in 2020

We are proud that our entire Dermatech-group training academy won the Prestige Awards prize for excellence in permanent makeup in 2020. The award recognises the quality of our training, treatments and products, our ethical working methods and our consistently high performance.

We are all colleagues

Aleksandra believes it is important to regard other micropigmentation practitioners as colleagues rather than competitors. Ultimately, the client’s specific needs should always come first.

If a client has a particular need, it is better to refer them to the right micropigmentation practitioner than to deliver a result that leaves both you and the client dissatisfied. We achieve the best results together, so let us cooperate and help one another and our clients.
