Introduction to the Lash Lift & Brow Lift course

In this course you will learn to perform a professional 6-in-1 treatment which, despite the name, not only lifts the hairs, but also laminates and colours them. 

The treatment includes the following steps, which you can read more about in the next section:

1. Lash Lift / Lash curl

2. Brow Lift

3. Lash Keratin Lamination

4. Brow Keratin Lamination

5. Lash tinting

6. Brow tinting

The Lash Lift & Brow Lift course requires patience and a love of precision work. You will learn the basic theory, everything about equipment and accessories and, of course, the basic practical techniques, but it takes practice to get the hands-on application just right. It requires practice and patience. 

You will also be trained in pre- and post-treatments and in marketing your craft.

We also always work with client psychology in PMU-line’s training programmes, as truly great client care and client collaboration are your path to success as a Lash Lift & Brow Lift stylist.

About the Lash Lift & Brow Lift treatment

With this course you will be able to offer your clients an effective “Lash Lift & Brow Lift” treatment. This is sometimes also called a lash curl or lamination of lashes and brows.

The perfect 6-in-1 treatment

With this treatment you combine the following 3 steps, each performed on both brows and lashes. That means you can actually offer your clients 6 different treatments in one single session.

• Lash Lift + Brow Lift: Setting the hairs into a specific shape and direction. Let the client choose between 5 modern lifts

• Keratin treatment: Lamination of lashes and brows that strengthens the hairs and eliminates the typical side effects of traditional Lash Lift

• Tinting: Tinting of eyelashes and brow hairs. The safest technique, where the skin is protected from dye and the perfect shade is individually matched

Course structure and content

The Lash Lift & Brow Lift course consists of:

• Part 1 – Online theory and practice

• Part 2 – Practical training

This structure makes the course extremely flexible and gives you the opportunity to plan and adapt the course to your everyday life. Many of our students, for example, have a full-time or part-time job alongside the course. 

Part 1: Online theory and exercises

• Theory about Lash Lift & Brow Lift

• Step-by-step video demo treatment

• Practice at home on the mannequin head you receive with your starter kit after enrolling

• Online theory exam

Once you have completed Part 1, passed the online theory exam, and your exercises have been approved by your instructor, you will gain access to Part 2.

Duration: approx. 3 weeks

If you have the opportunity to practise the techniques in real life—for example in your own clinic or where you are employed—you are welcome to perform model treatments before the practical day. These will count towards your overall exam assessment.

Part 2: Practical day at the training centre

• Summary of the theory

• Review of the techniques through practice on a model

• You practise yourself on a model, which is part of your exam

In addition to this practical day, you must carry out treatments at home and submit before-and-after photos of at least 10 model treatments. Read more in the next section.

Duration: 1 day at the training centre or with a partner in Copenhagen, Glostrup, Nykøbing Falster, Randers or Farsø. 

Exam in Lash Lift & Brow Lift

Theoretical exam – online

The theoretical exam takes place online at the end of Part 1 and qualifies you for Part 2.

Practical exam – at the training centre and at home

The practical exam is a combination of treatment on a model at the training centre (or with one of our partners) in connection with the practical day, as well as 10 subsequent treatments completed independently.

As soon as you have passed the theoretical exam online, you are qualified to carry out model treatments on your own. This means you can already begin practising the techniques before the practical day—if you feel ready, of course.

In total, you must complete at least 10 model treatments independently (before and/or after the practical day) and send before-and-after photos to your instructor, who will evaluate them with you and provide professional guidance.

Once you have completed 10 model treatments independently, you are qualified to receive the final course certificate and the internationally accredited certificate for a successfully completed course. If you manage to complete 10 treatments before the practical day, you will receive the certificate on the day.

Internationally accredited CPD certificate

Successful completion of all theory, techniques, as well as the theoretical and practical exam in the course entitles you to the internationally accredited CPD certificate: "Lash Lift & Brow Lift Stylist". You may thereafter call yourself a Lash Lift & Brow Lift Stylist.
