The training includes thorough instruction in treatment with acupuncture needles, small intradermal needles, as well as cupping and Gua Sha.
Description
AcuBeauty is a holistic beauty treatment that combines effective Eastern tools such as acupuncture, cupping and Gua Sha with a Western functional treatment approach.
This means that, in addition to learning acupuncture points on both the body and the face, as well as an introduction to cupping and Gua Sha techniques, you will also gain knowledge about how diet, lifestyle, natural medicine and dietary supplements can affect our skin and signs of ageing.
The training has been carefully developed over the past 10 years by our instructor, who helped introduce this treatment method in Denmark. This means you receive an education of particularly high quality.
We are experiencing strong demand for this treatment in Jutland, and therefore the training gives you the opportunity to become one of the sought-after certified practitioners in the field.

Knowledge of how supplements, diet, herbs and lifestyle can influence signs of ageing — and how you can work with your client to support the treatment with these.

Plenty of hands-on practice on models during the training.
In addition, you receive more than 100 pages of theory and practical compendiums, a certificate confirming you are a certified practitioner, and access to a closed group with other certified practitioners where you can exchange knowledge with both colleagues and us.
To maintain your certification, we hold an annual continuing-education day so both you and we can ensure you are up to date. The day is also your opportunity to receive guidance directly from the instructors and review points or topics you would like refreshed.
Programme structure
Our programme is divided into:

Part 1: Foundation module (theoretical online course)

Part 2: Practical training at the training venue
Part 2 takes place over 10 days divided into 3 modules.
The sequence of the content in the different modules is a guideline and will be adjusted to the specific class.
Module 1
- Classical Chinese Acupuncture.
- Western acupuncture
- Anatomy of skin, skull and muscles.
- Training in needling technique and point location.
- Contraindications.
- Body points – function and practical training.
- The body’s responses.
- Scar tissue treatment.
- Point training and anatomy around the neck and lower face.
Module 2
- Revision of difficult points from Module 1.
- Facial analysis.
- Advanced anatomy of nerves and blood vessels.
- Central motor point stimulation.
- Skin conditions and treatment of these (Eczema, Rosacea, Psoriasis, Acne)
- Point training and anatomy around the mouth, cheeks, eyes and forehead.
- Intradermal treatment with special needles.
- Programme training: downturned mouth corners and neck lines.
Module 3
- Revision of difficult points from Modules 1 and 2.
- Functional cosmetic treatment, including diet, lifestyle, vitamins, exercise, etc.
- Treatment procedure.
- Client training all 3 days.
- Programme training: nasolabial fold and dark circles under the eyes (on clients).
- Guidelines for cosmetic treatments.
- Acupressure.
- Fascial / connective tissue release.
- Programme training: heavy eyelids, worry lines and overall radiance (on clients).
- Technical refinement and revision based on participants’ wishes.
Certification
The practical assessment takes place continuously throughout the programme, particularly in Module 3 where we have a high level of models for hands-on training and where full treatments are carried out.
The written certification exam takes place at the training venue and lasts 2 hours.
After passing the written exam, you will receive a certificate of certification.
