I can highly recommend Aleksandra’s permanent makeup foundation training. The training is of very high quality and extremely professional.

Aleksandra is a fantastic teacher who meets you at your level and calmly yet effectively guides you to a higher one. I had no previous experience with PMU, so she started from scratch with me. Her patience and kindness were amazing. This is definitely one of the best courses I’ve attended.

Who Can Take Our Microblading Course?

Our microblading course is open to everyone, regardless of prior education or experience. To get started with microblading, you must first complete the Professional Course, which is a prerequisite for participation in our Microblading Basic Course.

If you aim to deliver the highest level of quality in microblading, we recommend starting with our basic microblading course and then continuing with our Microblading Masterclass. The Masterclass is designed for those who already have experience (typically 30+ treatments including touch-ups). It helps refine and elevate your skills to the next level.

Course Structure and Duration

The Permanent Makeup education is structured as an intensive and professional program combining in-depth theory with comprehensive practical training.

The entire program consists of 50 hours of theoretical instruction and 110 hours of practical training in eyebrow microblading, including home practice on training skin.

1. Mandatory Professional Course – required only once

The mandatory professional course must be completed only once, regardless of how many specialties you choose to pursue. It covers fundamental skills in anatomy, hygiene, safety, color theory, and pigment knowledge. It includes interactive tests and introduces you to the profession, preparing you for longer training courses that meet the new regulations effective from July 1, 2021.

Duration: 1 day at the school.
See more about the course here.

2. Mandatory Hygiene Course – required only once

Hygiene Course for Cosmetic Tattoo Artists – Mandatory Training in Safety and Health.

Attending a hygiene course is not only a legal requirement but also an investment in your professional future and in your clients’ safety. You’ll be trained to prevent infections and handle tattoo equipment correctly so that both the workplace and the procedure meet the latest Health Authority standards.

3. Microblading Module

This specialty includes both theoretical and practical elements that together ensure a full understanding of treatment principles, techniques, and aesthetics. The lessons combine classroom sessions, live demonstrations, model work, and independent exercises so you gradually build technical precision and artistic confidence.

Duration: Up to 6 months at the academy, minimum 160 hours depending on your individual pace and experience.

4. Exam and Certification

After completing the program, you will take a final exam combining both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The exam includes oral, written, and practical parts where you demonstrate your understanding of techniques, safety, aesthetics, and client care.

Once passed, you receive your internationally recognized certificate as proof of your professionalism as a micropigmentist.
Duration: 2 days of 6–8 hours each.

Starter Kit

A starter kit worth DKK 5,000 is included in the course.

Microblading (Theory & Practice at the Training Center)

The practical part takes place at our training centers in Vejle or Copenhagen, or with one of our certified trainers. Class days may vary and usually span 15–20 days depending on your progress. The entire program must be completed within 6 months.

Practice sessions are usually held on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 15:00 in Vejle or by arrangement in Copenhagen. Each day includes theoretical review and hands-on practice on paper, artificial skin, and live models. All necessary materials are provided, and you will also gain access to extra online materials for home assignments.

  • Theory material / course binder
  • Step-by-step demo videos
  • Theory tests and drawing tasks
  • Sample client consent forms
Flexibility

You are free to decide how often you attend classes per week. Your attendance hours and submitted assignments are tracked individually. This flexibility allows you to combine your education with work, manage illness, and plan vacations without missing essential lessons.

Home Practice

After each training day, you are expected to continue exercises at home during the week. Consistent practice is vital to maintain your progress and achieve the best outcome.

Independent Student Treatments

If you work in a registered tattoo clinic and have completed the mandatory hygiene course, you may perform student treatments independently once approved. To gain approval, you must first complete all artificial-skin exercises and perform 10 supervised model treatments at school.

Class Groups

Our classes consist of students at different levels, allowing you to collaborate and learn from peers nationwide — a valuable part of the training experience.

Equipment

You’ll gain a thorough understanding of PMU equipment. The program assumes you have your own device, but PMU-line offers affordable starter kits with the best tools in the industry. All materials used during training and exams are included in the tuition.
