Learn to correct scars and create 3D areolas
Dermopigmentation is a very special subject within the field of aesthetic tattoos. In permanent makeup for eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner, it's primarily about shape and color choice. But in body dermopigmentation techniques, we have a special focus on the condition of the skin before treatment, as we typically work on scar tissue. And not all scars may be disturbed! You learn to recognize suitable cases and how to micropigment beautifully and effectively, without the risk of further scarring. You learn to create a realistic image of the areola and to camouflage scars on the body and face.
Course Content and Structure
The duration of the education depends on how quickly you can complete the initial theoretical part. It is online and at your own pace - but the average time is 4 weeks. The second part takes place at our training center in Vejle, where there are 1-3 practical days.
During the medical pigmentation training, you will go through:
Part 1: Theory and exercises as distance learning

Exercises on latex skin at home

Online materials and follow-up meeting with the instructor

Introduction to advanced techniques and selection of the appropriate needle

Scalp, Areola, Vitiligo, and scar camouflage

Choice of pigments and combinations
After completing part 1, you get access to part 2, which consists of practical days at our training center in Vejle. It is always held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in even weeks, and you need to attend 1-3 days, depending on your skills and development.
Part 2: Practical days at the training center

You practice the learned theories on real models with thorough observation and sparring (we will of course find models for you)

About the exam in medical pigmentation
Before the exam, you must practice the learned techniques and continuously send before and after pictures of your work to your instructor. You may practice on practice skin and paper, but you must have completed at least 10 model treatments on your own before you are ready for the exam. And you must send pictures of these treatments to your instructor, who will continuously evaluate them with you and provide you with professional sparring.

Practice (homework and treatment on a model at the training site).
If you pass both parts of the exam, you will receive a diploma and course certificate as proof of your new skills. If you fail one of the parts, you have the opportunity to retake the exam once more for free.
Remember: It is not a requirement to have prior experience in tattoos or permanent makeup to start the education. We will teach you everything you need to know!
Prices and payment
The total price for the education in medical pigmentation is DKK 24,900 excluding VAT. This includes all course materials, online access, practical days, exam, diploma, and course certificate.
A down payment of DKK 4,900 is required upon registration, and the remaining amount is due 14 days before the start of the course.
It is possible to apply for support from the "Competence Fund" if you are employed and your employer is a member of an employers' association that contributes to the fund.
