Hygiene Course for Traditional & Cosmetic Tattooists – Mandatory Training in Safety and Health

Participating in a hygiene course for tattooists is not only a legal requirement, but also an investment in your professional future and the safety of your clients. Based on the highest hygiene standards, you will be trained to prevent infections and handle tattoo equipment correctly, so that both the workplace and the tattooing process itself comply with the latest requirements from the Danish Patient Safety Authority.

Safety First

The course covers practical knowledge of infection prevention and proper cleaning and disinfection of equipment and work areas. In addition, you will learn about risk factors that may arise while working as a tattooist, and how to best protect yourself and your clients.

Get Certified

For all professional tattooists, a hygiene course is a mark of quality and proof that you have the necessary knowledge to perform your work in a safe and secure manner. With this certification, you show your clients that health and safety are a priority, which builds trust and ensures that your business complies with the legal requirements in the tattoo industry.

A Professional Standard

By completing the course, you receive an official certification that supports your professional standard and your commitment to delivering safe and hygienic treatments to your clients.

Legal requirements and course structure

The new tattoo legislation from 2018 requires cosmetic and traditional tattooists, among other things, to complete a mandatory hygiene course.

It is time to get your documentation in order, as you can no longer legally perform permanent makeup after July 1, 2021 unless you have completed two mandatory courses:
